Dr. Torres has practiced Optometry for close to 30 years. She grew up locally in the city of Glendora and is a graduate of Glendora High school. She earned a bachelor of arts in biology at the University of San Diego. From there she went on to earn her doctorate from the Southern California College Of Optometry in Fullerton.

Dr. Torres has worked for several large medical groups including CIGNA, Friendly Hills and Magan. She is great with patients of all ages. She is fluent in Spanish. Currently, she is listed in Several Whos Who Lists including Americas’ Best Optometrists 2002,through the present. Dr Torres recently attained the status of Diplomat of the American Board of Optometry.This Board assures that Doctor Torres is Certified in Optometry with a special emphasis in Contact Lenses and Anterior Segment disease. She is one of the few Optometrists in the area who carry this title.
In addition to her busy schedule, Dr. Torres is an active member of the Claremont Chamber of Commerce, and the Montclair Chamber of Commerce. She is also a Board Member of the Claremont Rotary, and on the Board for The Executive Women’s International Group of Pomona Valley. Dr Torres is on the Membership committee for the Claremont Chamber of Commerce. Dr Torres is active in the Local Optometric Society The Inland Empire Optometric Society. She is serving as the Pac Director the Inland Empire Optometric Society. Dr Torres also belongs to the Vision Source Network of Doctors where she is spending time looking for ways spending time looking to Improve the Eyecare services that are provided at the Optometric Vision Center of Claremont.
