Dr. Torres has practiced Optometry for close to 30 years. She grew up locally in the city of Glendora and is a graduate of Glendora High school. She earned a bachelor of arts in biology at the University of San Diego. From there she went on to earn her doctorate from the Southern California College Of Optometry in Fullerton.

Catherine is an ABO-certified optician and certified optometric vision therapist (COVT) with over 40 years of experience in the optical field. She enjoys helping patients find comfortable, stylish eyewear and providing personalized care to help them see their best. Her goal is to make every patient feel welcomed, confident, and well cared for.

Moving from 30 years in customer service to the world of eye care has taught me one vital lesson: truly listening is the highest form of care. Now in my third year as an Optometric Technician, I combine decades of experience with a passion for patient advocacy to ensure you feel seen, heard, and supported throughout your visit.

I take pride in arriving every day with a smile, ready to work alongside a team of dedicated professionals who share my commitment to excellence. To me, vision is a gift—one I never take for granted. This appreciation stems from my own love for the world around us, whether I’m on a road trip with friends or discovering the scenic views of a "hidden treasure" small town.

After completing my education at American Career College, I earned my certification through the American Board of Opticianry (ABO), demonstrating my commitment to high professional standards in eye care. With two years of hands-on experience, I provide attentive, personalized care to every patient. I take pride in helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident about their vision needs, whether selecting eyewear or understanding lens options. My goal is to make every visit a positive and stress-free experience while ensuring patients receive quality care and clear vision. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.
